Dear Friends of the Amicale,

When the AICR International Congress was convened in Cannes in February 2009, I never thought that I would be elected as your new International President. I take this opportunity to thank the members of the Swiss Section sincerely for your confidence in me to carry out the ideals and objectives for the good of the AICR.

The AICR has been growing from strength to strength with each passing year. This can be sum up mainly to the hard working committee that ensures continuity, bringing of new talent and excitement to the AICR International and to its Sections.

The Swiss Sections has many sub-sections and it has brilliantly managed in getting everyone together and co-ordinating with each different section on your many exciting events and activities for its members. I applaud the President and its committee for it hard work and successful initiatives in driving AICR objectives and its members for supporting them.

The next 2 years will be a very challenging year for everyone globally. It is during these times that I call on all members to stay strong and help each other. Share your good ideas and practices and most importantly share and teach our young ones the importance of it. They are our future hoteliers and for them they want to belong to something important and as such a creation of a small association for your younger non-management hoteliers will see a beginning of something good for the future of AICR Switzerland.

I wish each and everyone a healthy and successful year and if there is anything that I can do to assist, I am at your disposal.
